Inspection and (re-) certification
Holders of metal wire ropes or related equipment must maintain product safety, which necessitates repeated inspections by the Bär-Zin team and conducts inspections to maintain and certify equipment on site and in-house. Verified products will receive a (re) certification or an inspection report.
Load testing of cranes
Crane load testing is required by many safety regulations, national and international standards and manufacturers. It is the purpose of the actual testing that the equipment is capable of moving in all designed movements. We are eligible to load full capacity cranes using water weight and other static weight options
Reeving and unreeving of cranes and winches
Our spoilers have a maximum capacity of 250 tons of unit weight for rearing and unearthing of cranes and winches. We also have hydraulic wire rope tensioning machines with a traction capacity of 45 tons.
Overhaul and repair
We provide service technicians and engineers for inspection, preventive maintenance and overhauling of the crane complete with spare parts.
Overhaul of blocks, swivels, chains and other lifting equipment is another area of expertise. The stages of overhaul include disassembly, repairs, cleaning, inspection, refurbishing, assembly, load testing, non-destructive testing (NDT) and coating.
